There is a meeting regarding Riverbank development being held at the discovery centre tonight Aug. 18th from 7-9:30. This meeting is for businesses and groups requiring use of the Assiniboine River and surrounding area. The meeting on August 19th from 7-9:30 at the victoria inn is for the general public to voice their concerns regarding the rivers use.

I am interested in going, do you have a web link that explains who is putting it on and what their intent is?

As far as I've been told the city of Brandon is putting it on but you could contact the owner of Stream n Wood.

As far as intent goes I'm sure there are a few topics to be brought up such as boat launch use and availability. Where and where you cannot fish from, etc.

The more people that come and voice there concerns the better!
