I'm looking for sources of help for a great lady that lives in Brandon and is struggling to deal with financial issues since she was diagnosed with cancer which has spread to her lungs, brain, and bones.  
 
I'm guessing they struggle with more than I am aware of, but I know they are having trouble with most things from vehicle insurance to everyday utility bills. All sorts of (more) trips to Winnipeg are pending as well and those and other costs are an extreme burden.  
 
Her husband has had to take a lot of time off work to be with her as they have no family here. She had started a new job after several years of struggle with other health issues but a few days into her new job, she had problems which resulted in the discovery of the cancer and she hasn't been able to work.  
 
If anyone knows of any groups that maybe have benevolent funds, or any type of source for help, information would be much appreciated.
