Where in Brandon would I be able to get volunteer to get the following RRC Program requirement--Completion of 50 hours of relevant volunteer or work experience. 'Relevant' volunteer or work experience in Child and Youth Care means work with vulnerable, at-risk youth in a therapeutic community-based agency or a managed care program

IM not sure what the RRC Program is or who is the provider but generally the provider would set up practical experience or give you places you could use so i would ask them

I would contact CFS of western Manitoba. Maybe you can do some shadowing with a social worker. Or volunteer as a mentor.

Call candace at child and family services of western Manitoba. She is the human resources specialist.

Keep in mind, you will have to bave a criminal record check and vulnerable and/or child abuse registry check before any of these locations will even look at you. A letter of introduction or intent from your program instructor or facilitator would be a good idea as well.  
Good luck on your course. I would second CFS. Also look at Elspeth Ried Center and Brandon Friendship Center. You could also contact MMF (Manitoba Metis Federation) as well. Some of these places may be willing to help you out once your paperwork is in place.
