This is a message to the lady that was driving south on 17th Street E Aug 15, 2018 at 10:20am.
What you did was idiotic. There are fire bans ALL over the provinces and what did you do but throw out your lit cigarette out the window. Thank god - there was no fire.

Is there a fire ban now? I know there was one just for the camping/parks this spring early summer but haven't heard of anything since.

Most if the municipalities have a total fire ban on effect now. No fire works, no fires of any sort-and anyone that thinks a cigarette couldn't spark a devastating grass fire is a fool.
