5-10cm possible for tonight

Heads for those that don't know. The system from Calgary is moving into Manitoba this evening/night and we are expected 5-10cm. They say that Brandon will be closer to 10cm.

Stay safe as most of us haven't even changed over to winter tires yet! YIKES!

Sounds like splitting hairs but for accuracy’s sake I’m seeing 1-3cm tonight at that link, 5-10 total over the next 24hrs including Friday?

Other thing that stands out about the link... they’re seeing temps quite a bit below normal into next wknd. Hopefully that 5 spot on Sat is enough to get us some melting!

My husband winterized our camper early, tarped the central air early and put the winter tires on early....feel free to blame him for this shit. I sure do!!!! LOL (of course, now he just thinks he was right to do all that stuff early....)

They're always WAY high...the REAL weather network is calling for 2-4 tonight and possible 5-10 tomorrow...still interesting to see that it looks like the snow might not be going anywhere, pretty cold as far out as I can see on Environment Canada.

I would say he was a genius for sure . But it isnt like we wernt expecting winter to come . Some of us just get lazy . Sept long weekend is a good time to winterize every thing no matter how tropical it feels . Some body was worried that they hadent blown out there lawn irrigation (underground ) hoses yet . As long as you can find a mud puddle some where I would say that you arnt too late .

I'm glad he did all that early. The reason we got this crap is because it's Mother Natures way of shocking those that wait till December to do what should have been done all ready. Lol

The official Environment Canada forecast calls for 2-4 cm overnight, with 5-10 cm tomorrow.

I've seen a couple of places talking about early-mid next week getting hit again by a clipper-type system. The maps I've seen actually show the prairie getting whapped by winter, while Toronto will see Humidex values near 40 mid next week.
