A winter poem

To the lady in the grey car,
Thanks for honking and keeping me in my toes.
I almost fell over from the scare you arose.
To the people shoveling their sidewalks,
Thank you for thinking of the pedestrians in this weather.
And to the spirit of the man with a shovel in his hands out east,
You are loved by many and may you rest in peace.
