It’s April, but no foolin….
snowfall warning issued by Env Canada for Brandon and much of Southwestern Manitoba. 10cm forecast during the day Sunday starting in the morning.... more through until about midnight

Heaviest of the heavy or not, coming down decently enough in the city right now that it's starting to add up and to grind visibility right down. Side streets are trickier driving because of all of the hardened slush from yesterday that you can’t see coming under the new white stuff! Imagine highways not very good!

when it comes to shoveling, pretty light and fluffy this time around compared to that last shot. Thinking 10cm today won’t have near the moisture that 10cm last week had… but what a start to spring after the drought last year!

Out here in the country it’s wet and heavy, should do a lot of good but bad timing for calving.
It’s too early to seed and we are grateful to receive moisture, more to come next week by the forecast.

Just got home (MacGregor) from Winnipeg (21:00) and highway is ice covered! Was following a semi who was passing everyone doing 90kph, but most traffic was going slower and passed a couple vehicles in the ditch. As it get's colder and traffic shines things up it's going to get real slick tonight, wouldn't surprise me they close the highway by midnight.
