MTS Phone Trouble

Is anyone else on or around the north hill having problems with their MTS landlines this morning?
My phone shows " in use " despite having both handsets here, unplugged the unit, plugged in an analog unit to try etc.
I've phoned MTS and they said there is nothing wrong in the area that they know of.
