Did anyone happen to see the bright green meteor to the north of Brandon/Carberry on Saturday evening Oct 1st at around 735pm? It streaked across the sky from east to west then looked like it blew up into smaller pieces. It was green and white and neat to see as it wasnt even dark yet.

Had a couple people mention that last night when I had the telescope setup in Spruce Woods last night. And of course I missed it.  
 
Could be a part of the Southern Taurids meteor shower.

Yes I did see that. I'm still reeling from what I saw... I tried to respond earlier, being new on this EBrandon it wouldn't let me in. I had an object follow beside my car 110km burst into a white streak then into an all around tail of orangey color. It started to slow and the tip did all the color's of the rainbow and went out. I was traveling West out of the City. It very much looked and sounded like it was next to my car and not km in the air. I had to ask my partner if that side of my face was tanned the light was blinding! I've seen falling star's even meteor shower's but nothing like this!
