Help. Recover my google account.

So I lost my gmail account password and have tried everything to retrieve it but nothing seems to work. Have gone thru the online steps numerous times to recover account but no luck. Verification codes don’t seem to work either. Anybody have any experience with google? I’m basically locked out of my phone and can’t get it.
