Are there outages for anyone else’s internet service? This is the second time in the last couple months the service has gone down in the house I was in, for hours.

My wave connection is out this morning as well. It was fine as of about 11:00 PM last night.

The crews were out last night doing upgrades and they took a little longer than expected all services are restored now.

Would this have been happening in the University area by any chance? My kid was having an absolute meltdown last night, because the BU server wouldn't work. Couldn't log in and get notes and Thursday's lab assignment until closer to midnight. I thought it was a result of first week overload in student demands on the server itself. I never thought that it could be the service link through Westman Communications. ...And here I thought it was all BU's fault being ill-prepared to handle the load.  
 
Can anyone confirm my new assumptions?  
 
Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

It was out for a lot of customers, thanks for the responses.

All work is done overnight usually between the hours of 2am - 6am so that customers aren’t affected as much.  
 
If it was earlier in the evening at BU my guess it was high traffic in the evening.
