I just switched from MTS for tv and internet. But I can't get my laptop or phone to connect to wifi. So frustrated.

Did you contact MTS techsupport? Your Wifi pw is not the same anymore if you get a new wireless router/modem. Normally, I think the pw is the serial number on the router.

You have to go into your settings for the router and allow your devices access through the firewall.  
Call tech support and they will walk you through it.

I'm appreciative for all the reponses, and I will try westman support tomorrow.

I don't believe Westman has a 24-hour support line as their website states 8 a.m. - midnight so OP still has time to call tonight for assistance 204-725-4300

Look on bottom of the router (black box with flashing lights) There is a serial number that is the password and the router username will begin with CGN-xxxx. Also you will have the a very good signal when you click on the icon (that looks like bars, or a computer monitor) in the lower right hand corner of your screen. There may be two sets of numbers on router. They usually leave you a fridge magnet with this info.

as I am they gave me a very long WIFI code that was included in the paperwork pkg. I believe it was in a folder. But If not the help desk guys are amazing and have walked me through many things and issues that they probably shouldn't have as they were more issues I was having with my new TV. Good luck!
