I've installed iOS 9 on my iPhone 5S, iPad Mini, and iPad 2, with zero issues. iOS 9 is a much smaller instal compared to iOS 8 last year (1g -for 5S, & less than a gig for iPads )  
So far, it's smooth, and way more power efficient. Siri is smarter, and way more useful than ever before.  
Don't hesitate to update.  
What do you think about it?

still navigating but seems ok not sureif I like the lower case keyboard but will adjust  

No issues so far! Pretty good update if you ask me!.. I'm actually liking the keyboard

It is causing some of my apps to freeze and crash. Didn't have problems with them before.

Apps crashing or lagging. Same as camera. How do you uninstall? Not impressed.

I just did the update and went to text someone but in the field where you would see what you are typing I can't see what I'm typing because it's covered by a grey bar with 0:00 on the side. ?

Go to Settings, General, Messages.  
Turn "Show Subject in Field" on and then off again.  
Fixed it.  
 
I like the upper case/ lower case function.

wound up spending 4hours on the phone with Apple support as it wound up getting froze in the "slide to update" screen which is a known glitch. Meant losing everything (thankfully had a back) but was still a pain. I did get the new update after all of that hassle but beware if you plan to update make sure to back your phone up first in case you become one of the ones to have this happen. Apple said there are lots of glitches and to wait to do the update until the next update fixing these glitches comes out in about 2-3 weeks.  
 
Forgot to mention, the phone I find also lags now when texting, unlocking screen, petty much anything and I had the iOS7 before doing this update and didn't have the issues I am having now.

This is fixable!  
Settings, general, accessibility and keyboard

I've had no issues with the update. I love the lowercase keyboard. It makes it way less confusing for me when I am typing!
