I like having the unlimited data/tether on my phone. It only saved me about 10 bucks(as I have unlimited data already) but being able to create my own wifi hotspot on the road has been nice to have for kids running tablets to pass the time. If you have a four service bundle keep in mind that you lose that bundle so it really depends on what services you have as to what kind of saving will happen.

Into it. It wasn't a great deal, at least not for my family. You can save a bit of money, for us it was about $5 per month, but the catch is you are now sharing all of your data. In our case that means the limit of 15gigs before they slow your internet is now divided between 2 or more phones, instead of each having 15gig limit a piece. In my opinion, the small savings wasn't worth it as we use a lot of internet data.

That doesn't sound correct, I think whoever told you that was misinformed. It should be that each wireless device is counted separately, so if one device goes above 15GB, the others are still not affected. Also keep in mind that only cellular data counts towards the threshold.

The data while on total internet is not shared between the cell phone users  
 
I like the total internet, gives me the unlimited data and tethering on my phone, as well as the internet at home. Why pay for two different internets for two different devices, when you can pay for one internet for all your devices?  

I've been thinking about this, but have a couple of questions for those who have it:  
 
Is your home internet still on the device connected to the phone line, or is it off the cell network?  
 
I have TV, Phone, internet and 2 cells - do I lose ALL the bundling credit?  
 
I've got 25Mbs speed now and would go to the 50Mbs - anyone have that and is it a reliable speed?

Your home internet still comes in on the phone line, Total Internet is essentially just a fancy name for bundling your cell and internet plans together. I believe you do lose your existing bundle discounts.

This is not accurate info that you were told.

to go to an MTS store yet, but does anyone know if availability is only to residents of larger centers? I go online and click "see if you are eligible" and my small town comes up as not available, even though I have MTS high speed already. I would think it is just a billing thing. Was going to look into it next week.

Hopefully they expand this. I looked up what I have, and in my town the service I pay for is called "lightning reach", which costs me $3 a month more than they charge for lightning 10 in Brandon, yet it is the identical service based on their descriptions of each.
