on the MTS end, it had to do with network priority, when they moved to SIM cards, Rogers was the priority carrier (which is why you would see "E/GPRS" in middle of nowhere). Now the network priority is set to Bell. They did a software update on most phones and it buggered up iPhones - it was using Rogers E (2G) network instead of MTS LTE. The network mergers will need tweaking in coming weeks to make sure it's all 100%. Some of you will be Telus customers soon, and with that, you can negotiate your service plan more than ever, or you can contact CCTS and let them know you were forced to be part of a different provider when you were happy with MTS.
