    Does anyone know what events are happening in Manitoba this year for Louis Riel Day. I know there is tobogganing and sleigh rides in Austin, swimming and skating and entertainment in Portage and various activities in Winnipeg. I was wondering if any of the smaller communities in Southwest Manitoba had any plans. As far as I know Brandon isn't doing anything.

    Check with the Manitoba Metis Federation, I believe one of the locals here has skating etc, at Rideau Park, but am not 100% on location.

    Mdsa has "skate the lake" and Npwa has a similar outdoor event in the park (hot dogs, hot choc, fishing, snowmobiling, etc)
