Last year

Going back to last year, I talked to a member of the colony at Brandon bearing early one Saturday morning, the kitchen had been certified to produce products for sale, but there might have been a larger issue that changed the minds on holding the sale. Because of the large number of people who attended the sale there was the idea that if something did go wrong that the liability issue would be devastating.
It's nice to think the certification might guarentee that nothing might go wrong, but if one looks at what happened to Maple Leaf with a listeria outbreak, it shows how much damage can be caused financially.
My advice to people is if you are serious on buying product from the colony, get on the phone and talk with the person in charge, sort of have the feeling that they will be more than willing to try and help you out.
Just sitting here thinking about the past sales makes me a bit hungry for those sticky buns.
