The self checkouts!!

I love when the tills are fully stocked, means less time watching people that can't figure out how to scan a bar code or push a few on screen buttons.  
 
When I go to Walmart I want to get in and out as quick as possible. I love the ease and quickness of the self checkouts. I don't go to Walmart to interact or make a friends with the cashiers.

That means shorter lines at self checkout! Ha ha! I like to take my time to bag things like I like them and don’t have to interact with anyone! Self checkout for me!!

I was there yesterday. I could not say if there were any cashiers working or not. I grabbed my few items, went through self checkout and was on my way.

Self checkout > Cashier

With three small children usually in tow I avoided self checkouts like the plague thinking it would be difficult but they are super easy. No waiting in line, I can bag things how I want them and it’s quicker. Even with a big grocery shop it’s still a more positive experience. The first time I only had cash and also forgot to ring up what was on the very bottom of my cart and the lady supervising was super friendly and quick to help me out.

They can continue to "manipulate" me all they want - I love me some good self-checkout! So much easier and quicker, thank goodness they exist nowadays

I thought I had manipulated them. So many times i waiting while a cashier clumsily worked at ringing my items through-then I had to go to customer service to sort it out because things got scanned twice-and so many times I wished I could just do it myself! And now they offer self checkout. YAY!!

The more the people lineup at cash registers, the better, so I can use the self checkout and be on my way!  
 
Wish Canadian tire had self checkouts. That store is horrible for lineups. It always surprises me that people don't know how to use a credit card!

Some are good, some are not. When We had no choice but to use cashiers at Walmart I would pick my cashier. There were some who could scan only in super slow motion. There were some who would try to do a bulk scan-12 items @ price. Problem was, they could not count beyond 8. They would count twice then give up and scan the items one at a time. That is okay if you have 10 items, but when you have 225 it becomes worse than annoying.

I love self check out tills...I use them all the time.

The only time I use checkout is when I’m either in a hurry or have less than 15 items. People seem to forget our young kids need jobs & by the looks of it so do the seniors....self checkouts doesn’t create jobs.
