Hi - Does anyone have any knowledge on IKEA’s current situation with curbside pickup or deliveries to the Brandon area? I understand the actual Wpg store is closed due to Covid-related circumstances but I cannot figure out how to get a delivery to this area even after we move to Code Orange or lower (fingers crossed)...or an option to even pick a future date and time for a Curbside Pickup at IKEA Wpg. I received an email today that their Cyber Monday deal is free shipping but when I go to the website it only offers me to pick my items from Regina for $99 via Click and Collect (lol I do not want to go to Wpg let alone another province)..it says a Brandon postal code is not an area they are able to deliver to. I fb messengered them and they said Curbside should be available at the Wpg Store and that I should just keep trying at different times of the day for that option to appear. Just curious what others have been able to do in the past to pick or receive IKEA stuff. Also, I am in no rush for an order, I am more so curious - I am only going between work and home, and doing my part during Code Red to limit contacts. Please only respond if you have knowledge or experience with IKEA orders.

Basically they have curbside a day at a time (1 day in advance) so obviously it’s full for tmm. Shipping is probably $200 , as I didn’t go that route cuz it cost just as much as my items. You just have to keep trying. And do it the Day before you want to pick it up

Thank you A.G. for some insight! Weird how the email for Cyber Monday said it is free delivery if your order is over $399 - mine is $420 pre tax in my cart and it still says it can’t be delivered to this area lol.

My experience has been that it's small items that can be shipped via courier, it's not a problem. I have stuff arriving via FedEx tomorrow or the day after. Shipping tends to be pricey though, so be cautious.  
 
For large items, I'm pretty sure that they use their own staff/courier, and you have to be within 100 km of the city. Regina is a designated pick-up spot for shipping. A few years ago they selected a small handful of sites that were too small to have a store, but still had a decent customer base that they could basically use as a pick-up point for the region.  
 
I never successfully figured out how to ship large items to Brandon - I will just go pick it up in-store when I'm in Winnipeg next.  
 
I know that doesn't particularly help you with your dilemma, but that's just what I've gleaned over the years.

I have had items shipped from Ikea recently. I have had a large metal tv stand (55lbs) and wall stand (25lbs) shipped. I am struggling with another item but is is an inventory issue. All have arrived via FedEx. It cost me $25 to ship my items.
