Thinking of replacing a few windows in my house and not sure where to shop. Maybe even second hand windows if the prices are as crazy as dimensional lumber. Any suggestions?

We had to replace all the windows in our house a few years ago and got a quote on the worst ones from a downtown glass place. The quote per window was quite scary, and that was with us doing the installation...over $1800 each. We went to McMunn and Yates on Richmond, and the quote for the same windows was less than a third of what the glass place was going to charge us (slightly below $400 per window).. It actually made me a little mad, and I said so to the fellow at Mcmunn.....he says I was not the first to express that to him. We also checked at Home Depot, and McMunn was cheaper.  
Do your homework and shop around.
