It's to bad the lighting is so terrible it's so dark in there lots of treasures only if you could see them . sadness

Take a flashlight with you. I have seen a number of people do that as many stores are not turning on all their lights in order to cut back on costs.

I remember thinking the Brick was dark when they had it. They would have random lamps etc around their furniture settings

Place to find stuff, nice staff, and they do so much for so many. So if this is the only issue that’s pretty good. We shop there and donate all the time we’ve never had an issue seeing but if someone is they have cool little flashlights you get get for your keys, zipper on coats. Or toques perhaps that would help. Higher costs for the thrift store makes no sense so self solutions would be best.

Use the light on your Smart Phone when you want to see things a little better.

I gave one of these to my mom a few years ago....and then bought one for myself too! Helps both with lighting and that tiny, hard to read print on labels, etc!

I was there recently and made a comment to my shopping partner that it was really hard to see in there. She said since they reno'd and changed the lighting, it has been like that. I say change it back - lol! I'm not old or have any visual difficulties and I had a hard time. I cannot imagine how hard it is for folks without perfect vision!

Totally ridiculous that any store reduces their lighting to fictionally reduce costs. Put in the right bulbs that are energy saving. Lighting is the lowest user of electricity.

Don’t think much of their customers. Probably don’t want to show how dirty or poor quality items are. Or how they clean their stores.

I have found some really good quality items at this store. Far better than some of the other second hand stores in town.
