What store has the best selection of living room furniture in Brandon?  
 
2nd question - what's the most expensive/least expensive store?  

of ours, they have a great selection and it is our "go to", but we have also bought from  
Dufresnes. We try to buy Canadian (or at least North American) made. Have also bought from Ashley. We have had good service from all of them. I love the stuff at Kullbergs, but it is a little pricey sometimes. So much depends on your style and your needs, though, but I think we are very lucky to have so many good stores in Brandon

They all have different price points so depends on what you are willing to spend, and what kind of quality you are looking for/if you want it to last. Was furniture shopping recently and found DuFresne and Leon's most competitive and had Canadian made. Kullberg's had some nice stuff, but with the Canadian dollar being poor, found it was pricey for the higher quality.

Is ashley for price, quality and selection? I forgot about that store

Don't forget Kulbergs. Leons owns The Brick...same furniture in both .Defresne same stuff ,maybe slight difference. Kulbergs is the only one I find that has different furniture.

You mean united furniture warehouse on the hill owns the brick???

Great selection, will work with you on price, great service and locally owned.

Dufesne and Ashley are owned by the same ppl.  
 
We bought all our house furnishings at Ashley. Both sofa set and coffee table, bedroom set. Great to deal with. Gave us free delivery both times.  
 
Kullbergs, Leons and Dufersne all carry Palliser and Décor-rest. IMO Kullbergs tend to be more pricey than both.

The brick, United furniture, and Leon's are all the same company.  
Dufrense and Ashley are the same company.  
The only independent one is kulbergs.  
Doesn't matter where you go to shop all are made overseas.  
If you want higher quality stuff made in Canada you have to expect to pay extra.  
All stores do offer product made in Canada, you just have to ask.  
And if you want real leather, expect to pay extra. But real leather is way better than the fake stuff.

Just to clarify that the Brandon's Leons Furniture store is also locally owned. They may operate under the Leons logo, however that is the benefit of being a "franchise" . You can operate and employ locally with the 'buying power" of the larger "corporate" company. Leons "corporate" may own The Brick, however both the Brick and Leons Furniture in Brandon are both franchises and have nothing to do with one another, separate "franchise ownership".
