I've seen the commercials for this and I am just wondering if anyone is doing their shopping this way?  
 
Is it a good thing? If what they say is true, it would definitely change the way alot of people shop.

I like it. I have used it a little over a year. I've gotten about $30 back. I don't shop a tonne so I'm pleased. I figure any small amount I can get back makes it worthwhile. The biggest payments are when I book hotels online through hotels.com. I was sceptical at first but it costs nothing to sign up and I have always got the cheque in the mail!

If you like saving money, check out the app "Checkout 51", you can get money back on many things you might be buying!

I use it for everything I do online - from booking hotels, shopping at walmart (I live outside Brandon). So far in 3 years I've earned $596 - for money I would have spent anyway. Love love love my ebates!

You could also consider another popular site called Swagbucks.  
 
You get all the same shop online stores plus more. You get points for playing games, your searching also earns points, answers some surveys, check out their FB pages for when they release codes. I earn $25-75 per month and don't spend too much time at it. I shop online and go through them but like I can earn a little extra without shopping online entirely. You can choose from a range of gift cards from amazon to paypal, iTunes and there are many others but those are the more popular ones.  
 
They also have apps you can run for points too.

Yes the shop and earn from ebates, swagbucks and other pay to earn websites can be done on a regular computer. However to get those points you are ordering online.

Which is best? Swag bucks or ebates? So far I find swag bucks easiest to navigate but there's hardly any surveys to take and it seems to take forever to get points. I don't want to sign up for a million things though and get a ton of emails.... Thoughts?

Both programs are great! I've done both for years- but now only really use swagbucks for a search engine because I don't have the time anymore to hammer out all the extras for significant swagbucks. Ebates is only cashback for shopping. Neither send piles of emails unless you sign up for them thru things like the swagbucks offers.

I earn around a dollar a day from swagbucks. I redeem for amazon giftcards. You can win points by searching, playing games, watching videos, answering surveys and completing offers and from shopping online. Swagbucks also releases codes for free points and gives extra bonuses for making your daily goal.
