Mukluks Need Fur Repair

Does anyone know of anyone in Brandon (or surrounding area) that does fur repairs on mukluks? One of mine has 2 fur patches that are missing. Im not sure how it happened, but I would like to get it repaired if possible rather than buying a whole new pair.

Are they Manitobah Mukluks?? That happened to my moms pair and I sent them back to them and they fixed them and shipped them back to us.

I have a pair of mitts that need the fur replaced because the dog decided she rally liked them. They are not Manitoba mukluks, got them several years ago at a craft show.

They are manitoba mukluks. Were your mom's mukluks a few years old? I have had mine for 4 years and I didn't think manitoba mukluks would still repair them if they were older than a year.

Even if Manitoba Mukluks charged a small fee to repair them, it would be better than buying a new pair. I would start at this place to see what they say.

I am planning a trip to Winnipeg on Friday-Saturday if that is where they are located and you would like to save on shipping.

I shared this request with the Indigenous People Centre at Brandon University. Maybe they know someone local who has the skills required to solve your problem.

Mukluk repairs

Hi
I do most basic leather and fur repairs for mukluks, mitts and moccasinslippers. Manitoba Mukluks are made of rabbit fur uppers and are made on commercial machines so sometimes they are very difficult to repair in a home based setting.
