I have checked Wal-mart, Michaels, Staples... nothing! There must be a store that sells these things! Anybody?

Michaels has two separate sections with pens. One in the scrapbooking area (newly stocked within last few days) and the other over by paints, which includes calligraphy ink etc. i think the locked cabinet has some brush markers in it.  
 
Staples in the regular pen isle has mid range pens section (some $40) across from cheap pens.  
 
Did you see those but you need something different?  
 
I noticed this weekend Coles has 4 packs of Faber Castell PITT artist brush pens in many colors.

I'm new to Calligraphy, so I really don't know what specifically I'm looking for. I got a Manuscript Beginners Calligraphy Set fountain pen from Michaels (because it seemed to be the only option for calligraphy) and quickly realized it wasn't achieving the look that I wanted. I wanted to be able to achieve smooth lines of varying thicknesses (see image on the right)  
 
After more research I found out I would need a Brush Pen, not a Fountain Pen. I checked the pen & art aisles at Staples, but couldn't find anything. I never thought to check Coles or Christie's! Looks like the Faber Castell might be what I'm looking for. I will give them a try. Thanks
