What are some things that you wish your normal grocery did? Or something you wish they offered in types of services?  
 
What is something that you LOVE about your grocery store that keeps you coming back?

It seems like a silly first world problem but I wish Superstore would bag groceries for you. I always find I feel rushed when there is a lineup behind me and my baby is fussing. I go to Superstore for the price and location wise it's the closest to my house. I like the wide array of products they carry... groceries, clothes, pharmacy, seasonal, electronics... etc., the self check outs and the PC points you can collect from shopping there.

I'd love a grocery store with a babysitting room! haha I cannot wait for click and collect!

I miss double coupon days.

At The Grub Box in The Pas, they take your groceries to your vehicle. In Brandon, that might a bit tough trying to get that service in the box grocery stores logistically wise.

I just wish we had Aldi's here in Canada.

I would definitely pay a bit extra for online ordering and carry-out service. It would be much more convenient than hauling kids through the store. I think some Superstores in Winnipeg have these services.

Superstore in brandon is currently working on having pickup service.

More than 1 or 2 express lines, open all the time.

I agree with you - I wish Superstore would bag groceries - after all Walmart's prices are often lower or comparable to Superstore & Walmart bags your groceries, as well as every other store. Superstore prices aren't always the lowest.

I consider Walmart a grocery store, so they need to learn how to bag. I now place items on the conveyer as I want them packed...and please don't pack the bag so heavy its hard to lift. I would just rather pack my own, then I know that cold items are together, produce is together,etc. Also I am not going thru the self checkout with a cart full, I would like to see more than 2 checkouts open in the morning.

I love that Superstore has every (EVERY) register open weekend mornings. Never a lineup and no rush. If you go by 9 it is a very pleasant experience. (Especially if you leave the kids at home and grab a coffee on the way)  
 
I love that Sobeys offers an apple orange or banana to kids that need a snack. They still have the cookie for the die-hards but the fruit is such a simple change. We don't take advantage often but when we do I love that the kids run for an apple rather than begging for a cookie.

Actually the air miles program at Sobey''''s builds points and gets you money off your grocery bill WAY faster than Superstore. On your air miles there is an option to change it to Air Miles cash, that gets you cash off of your groceries. Every 95 points gets your $10 off your bill (no waiting till you get to $20 to take it off bill).And it deducts it directly off your bill, just like Superstore. You don''t need to do anything different. It operates like the old Sobeys card. And every week Sobeys sends out a flyer that has coupons on it for those air miles. The coupons are spend $95, get 95 air miles (thats $10 off at a later date already). And currently they have coupons that say spend $95 and get a $10 Sobeys gift card instead. Or they have spend $150 and get $20 gift card, etc.  
Also they have instore/flyer specials with additional air miles on them. And if you have the app, they email you special offers every week (just like Superstore does). In the offers you get things like percentage off products (I usually get at least 1 %50 off item every week, and they have bonus mile offers) and its all on products I usually buy.  
 
Last year I saved my air miles from groceries (and all the bonus offers) for only 2 months before Christmas. I ended up with $150 in free groceries for Christmas. It was awesome and intend to do that again this year.  
Also sobeys has the 20x points on the first Tuesday of every month.  
 
So it is way faster and easier to cash in at sobeys when you change your air miles to cash miles.  
It takes me months to get to the target at Superstore, as they don''''t give you points on your whole purchase as well (sobeys does), only on certain items.  
 
As for OP, definitely need a store that has a cash back program, or money off program like Sobeys has, is what I look for in a store. I hate that Walmart has no loyalty program.
