Where in Brandon should I go to buy a king size bed based on best price and selection? I have had a Serta. Any other suggestions?

As far as I know, you can't buy a king size boxspring easily, because it wouldn't fit into your house. You take two twin size boxsprings and put them together. We went even further than that: we got two twin mattresses and put them together with ratchet straps and a piece of foam down the middle. There's a bit of a bump, but unless you're sleeping right in the middle of the bed, you won't notice it. If you're really wanting a king size mattress but have doubts that it'll fit into your door and up the stairs, you can get a memory foam mattress which comes rolled up and "easy" to transport around.

we bought our king bed from kullbergs. after shopping around they were the best deal

We also bought from Kullbergs that comes with a split King box spring and the mattress will bend to get where you need it to go.

You can't buy a mattress anywhere these days that doesn't have memory foam. They only last a few years at best before you feel like you sleeping in a rut. They don't make mattresses to last anymore. Can't make money that way.

We found Sleep Country to have a good selection and service. Split box spring is the way to go to be sure you can get it into your house/bedroom.
