Anyone know the best shops in Winnipeg to shop for grad dresses?  
Only 2 shops in Brandon, not much selection for a long gown.

If you're ok with used there's lots on the fb swap and shop groups.  
 
As for wpg pretty much all the bridal stores on portage have grad dresses

I went to about 4 Bridal stores in Winnipeg yesterday, and if you do decide to go there MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! It was insane at how many of the girls in those stores were there for grad dresses.  
 
There was a lot of selection, and I will admit to judging some of the dresses the girls picked. There was a girl that tried on a dress that was the same colour as her skin. Thank goodness she told her stylist that she felt naked.

you could try local, I know my daughter found her dress in Brandon at Promises Bridal on 6th St....staff is very helpful and the owner does a great job to help you get the dress you want!

Promises in Brandon has some great grad dresses. Also, Abby Rose has a few second hand dresses, certainly worth a try.  
I know LA Collection in Winnipeg on Portage has a huge selection of grad dresses. But make an appointment!

are you looking for something specific I have a mori lee grad dress. size 14 corset back. its yellow. very beautiful. I'd love to sell it and someone else get some use out of it!

What about purchasing one that has been previously worn? There are a lot of people out there that are trying to sell grad gowns..and they are usually in pristine condition. Considering they've only been worn once, for maybe 6 hours.

If you shop local they keep track of what school the dress is for. If you shop elsewhere there is a chance that there will be duplicates. Just thought I'd point that out.
