Snow for snowmobiling?

Hello ebrandoners:

Just a question, wondering if anyone has found enough snow close by, field, ditches etc. to go for a ride on their sled?

We have family coming up from the southern USA and wanted to take them for a ride but from what I can tell, its pretty slim pickin's out there.

Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Not sure how far you're willing to travel but the closer to the park you get the more snow you'll find. Substantially more.

Today's snow will help but not enough yet other than a test ride. I see a lot of track going south from the staging area at Little Chiefs. I think it is still to rough out there.

Not enough yet for me, need another 3-5" then we'll be good.

If you're looking to ride you better head north or east. Saw pics of one club in the southeast has already started grooming.

Short ride

Just got back from a short ride south to 110 and followed it to the low road. Went to the Chater turn off and south about a mile on snoman trail. It was better than I thought it would be but like Trevor said we need more.

just wondering if anyone could give me update of the snow conditions north of Brandon around the park area or Dauphin.Basically anywhere,i live in the southern west part of province and not much here

Sunday ride

My wife and I went out last Sunday for about 45 miles. We followed the eastern access to Veteran's Way and then rode what is usually the Snoman trail to the marsh hut. It wasn't too bad of a ride considering what little snow we have.
