sewing classes

I'm looking to take sewing classes to learn how to use my machine better, clean it, etc. Would even pay someone to teach me 1 on 1. Is there anything like this offered in Brandon? I know the basics like threading and sewing a straight line but would like to do zippers, buttons, different stitches.

I am following your post as I would be interested in this too. I bought a sewing machine and I am very limited in my knowledge of what to do. Trying to remember back to my home ec days 30 years ago has not been successful lol.
