We have developed water stains around our pot lights in our vaulted ceiling. We suspect that there isn't sufficient insulation in that area of the ceiling. Any suggestions on a tradesperson who does this or any DIY ideas? Attaching a picture. There are 4 pot lights in this section and three out of four of them show water marks. This is the worst one.

I had similar problems around some light fixtures. Part of the problem was the vapor barrier was disturbed. I went into the attic with a can of spray foam and built a honeycomb of spray foam over each of the problem fixtures. The spray foam will act as insulation and as vapor barrier. Your vaulted ceilings are likely a little harder to fix as you likely have a lot less space to work in. It might be possible to drop the trim ring on your light and fill the void with spray foam.
