I have been looking at doing some resurfacing work on my garage floor, and am wondering if anybody on eBrandon has experience with epoxy floor coatings? Can these survive Manitoba's climate? Or would it be wiser to patch the existing cement and put a coat of sealant over the floor.  
 
It's a small garage and the damage isn't bad enough to justify a complete floor replacement. I'm just trying to learn the best way of making some repairs that will last.

Good timing on your post - my husband and I were talking about the same thing yesterday. All-in-all our garage floor is in really good shape but where our tires rest, it is crumbling. We were talking about patching it in these places but don't know how we would go about it.

Epoxy floor coating hold up well In our climate but it’s all about prep work poor prep and it will come up fast. I recommend putting some anti slip into the top coat otherwise it can be very slippery when wet.
