    Telepost Adjustment - recommendations

    Looking for recommendations for someone in Brandon who is able to adjust an older home's basement telepost.  
    I have noticed our floor is shifting towards the middle of the home, and we have had a few cracks showing up on the lath & plaster.  
    Any input appreciated!

    the tella post its self isnt hard to adjust but it sounds like you may need a little more evaluation, maybe another support beam ect.  
     
    unfortunately i dont have a recommendation for you but make sure you get a reputable company to look at it, might not be the cheapest but cheaper then letting it sagg until its to far gone ...good luck

    If you adjust them, they must be adjusted slowly over a period of time (weeks) of you will have other problems  
    1st of all you must find out what caused your floor to move. Teleport don’t just shrink.  
    Did your joist rot?  
    Did the floor that the telepost sat on rot?

    If the op has lath and plaster I doubt they have teleposts and may be mistakenly calling wood posts teleposts? As previously posted, whatever you do you have to raise it slowly over weeks if not months.
