We are purchasing land and require a lawyer to register the land title and will require a lawyer to handle the paper work when we sell our existing house (privately)  
 
It is nothing complex so should just be a simple filing of documents so just looking for cheapest rates and easy to deal with.  
 
Any suggestions? Please state why you choose them to help us with our decision.

Because they are good and look after your interests properly. A good lawyer like Burgess will cost you less in the long run and not waste your time or money.

Thank You for the suggestion. Burgess represents the other side so it is the only firm we can't use due to conflict of interest.

We’ve used her at least 4 times to buy and sell. She’s hard working. Fair and honest.  
 
Epp law Firm

The same lawyer can handle both sides of a simple purchase and sale. Both clients sign an agreement to that effect. Only thing is, if buyer and seller get into a disagreement then both will have to obtain separate counsel to fight it out.  
 
However-Andrea Epp or Jarett Kehler are to be recommended. Both are very competent, both are very nice to work with, and either one will be reasonable in fees.

Can’t recall the name. Both of my sons used law firm on sixth between Pacific and Rosser.  
 
Two different lawyers but both were very professional and used layman terms to explain what and why. They bought property and sold when moved away several years later.  
 
Price was very competitive and advice was bang on.

We used Burch law in last spring when we purchased a home. Very happy with them. Process was simple and straight forward.

That was the other one I wanted to suggest.  
 
Matthew Haydey at Burch Law. Great young lawyer that impresses me a lot-you would do well to choose him.

Your fees for real estate will be flat rated so majority in Brandon will be similar.  
 
I recommend any of the lawyers at Paterson’s.

Try Meighen Haddad! Used them for several purchases and sales. They are Brandon's top law firm. You won't be disappointed. 204-727-8461.  
 
With that said, most law firms will charge a very similar rate for doing the work! Best of luck.
