We have some windows we would like to get blinds/window coverings for. What company do you recommend? What can I expect for cost?

We got Budget Blinds. A few years back. At the time I thought it was expensive but look as good as day one. The lady came to the house with some books. They measured and placed the blinds up. Would I get them again…. Yes

We purchased Graber brand blinds from Fouillard Carpets in St. Lazare. We were provided with the color and fabric sample books for a few days to check out the color in our home during various times of the day.  
I wanted blinds that would fit inside the frames. We carefully measured each window at three levels (top, middle, and bottom) to be sure to get an accurate reading. We installed the blinds ourselves. It took an afternoon to install them all, but it wasn’t hard. The blinds were numbered to match the slight variations in window width.  
We saved over one third off the price quote from Budget Blinds for what appears to be the same product quality. I had researched well beforehand and had visited a few places to check out quality, different sun-blocking and insulation values of different fabrics, how well the blinds moved up and down, guarantee, etc.  
We’ve had them for a few years and I’m still very happy with the blinds.
