    stove & fridge close together what I'm wanting to know is what kind of heat reflector could I put on the side of the fridge so it does not get damaged from stove heat I looked at double bubble reflective foil insulation & another heat shield what type is going to stay on side of fridge ?

    How much does the outside/side of your stove heat up? Mine were side by side for 20+ years in my past house and never encountered a problem with either appliance. Though I would not design a kitchen this way, I never had a problem with my appliances being side by side. If your stove is sending off that much heat I would be concerned it it faulty.

    Have also had mine like this in the past for a few years and never ever had a problem either. The main thing is to clean it fairly often, maybe even every time your done cooking. Or me when ever I did dishes I would wipe down the counter, stove, fridge, dishwasher, and microwave, just keeps everything clean with no build up.

    If you really want something maybe try getting a piece of stainless steel cut to size with some safety edges folded on the sides so they aren’t sharp.
