Is there any place in Brandon that can recertify a small propane tank. It is a 10 lb tank (I believe) and it is used when camping. Maybe it would be better to just buy a new tank but hate to do that as there is nothing wrong with this little tank only, the date on the tank has expired.  
 
Also have a bbq sized tank, just purchased last year and refilled in June - the valve has frozen. Any thoughts people??

The petro can bulk place on 1st street north (not the gas station on hwy) used to but the cost was almost the same as a new tank. try them

The only place left in Brandon that will recertify consumer tanks, as far as I know, is MarDee Enterprises on 1st St N. They're located on the east side of 1st St about two blocks south of the TransCanada. They could probably address the frozen/stuck valve on your 20 lb tank as well.

Thank you to those that suggested MarDee - took the tanks up and they were able to do both things. We did learn a small factoid though. The large tank was a Costco tank - these tanks can not be recertification as they are made in the US. They can only do tanks that are made in Canada.
