I’ve seen two separate fact sheets for this (actually 3 but one was for commercial). The city has shared two different ones as well. The one Adam (and one of the ones the City used) shared was fact sheet #4 for domestic use. But on the actual health release it refers to fact sheet 1, and fact sheet 3 for commercial info. So I’ve been basing our decisions on that, and going by fact sheet 1 on the health release. That one says showers, baths, doing dishes etc is ok. Sure would be nice if they would pick one clear fact sheet for us to follow!!!

So I got looking around, and the fact sheet we are supposed to follow is Fact sheet 1 which is on the heath notice. This fact sheet, Adam shared, is for immune compromised or the risk is more severe, and not the one we are using.
The reason I saw it posted in comments section on fb by City, is sometimes they reference the fact sheet 4 for additional info (in this case was about dishwashers), that isn’t on the Fact Sheet 1.
Hope this clarifies. Follow the fact sheet on the health notice link posted above.

The water line that broke was a 60 year-old 400mm (16 inches) concrete main...just about big enough to convey a human adult. The story made it to the CBC National News, is that "top story" enough for you? These things can happen without warning, not unlike your furnace or water heater giving up on you without warning, it happens....and is being fixed.

Imagine a world without any breakdowns, ever...wouldn't that be nice?

Just walked by John Deere water bubbling out of the ground a couple of feet away from the fire hydrant . West side of 18th

Yes the boil water advisory has been rescinded per the above link. No contamination detected, water is safe for consumption again.
