Water damage (was Water Water Everywhere)

Does anyone know what I can do about leaks as a renter? We are renting a house and since the rain came... the house is literally falling apart. There are leaks everywhere. The walls in the kitchen are so soaked with water that they are bubbling out and sagging. The wall wher this is happening is the same wall that all the appliances are plugged in.Everything is unplugged, and the fridge has been moved so we dont loose anything. Water is dripping from the ceiling and just barely missing my brand new couches. If they get ruined, can i get the landlord to pay to replace, or have them cleaned (if thats possible)? I don thave renters insurance.
The leaks have caused us to have to move (they started a while ago when the weather warmed up). Can we get the landlord to help with moving costs? We didnt want to move, but would have had to anyways so the roof and ceilings can be fixed. It is going to be a huge job when he gets back(landlord is out of the country, and has only seen some pictures).
Im not trying to "take him down" or anything, but this is a major pain. I am just wondering if we have to foot the bill for everythng or if he has to help?
We are contemplating getting a storage unit for all of our stuff and staying somewhere in Brandon untill April 1st (when we were scheduled to move). This is kind of rediculous as I have a 9 month old son who is just learning to walk and he thinks buckets of water are fun. This is not fun!!
