Bathtub reno's

Hello, I am currently doing a bathtub reno, and I am having a little trouble deciding what to do with the tub surround. We bought the 80 inch tub surround because the wall was 68" (you either needed to buy a 60" or 80"), my question is, can I cut off of the top and the bottom to trim this to size?
