Has anybody used stainless steel tiles

I am looking at doing the backsplash on my kitchen countertops and was wondering how it would look. You can get the tiles in 4x4 or 6x6 or you can get a sheet of it and give them the specs. and they will cut it out for you, plug ins too, but this way is very expensive[about $1200 fore mine] Has any ebrandonites ever done this before
