To build or buy a banquette..

come on any carpenters..commments needed>> would it be cheaper to have a banquette built or to buy one from like ashley or leon's??? I really love the banquette style...not necessarily cottage style..more sturdy for kids to handle...nor chic so i don't worry about scratches...and moveable in case i do move.. please get sum suggestions to me....i know i would need to upholster if i did get it built.
