What to do when Tap water goes brown??

I line in Brandon (Riverheights area) and want to know if anyone else is having tap water issues, or is it just me? About 2 this afternoon I noticed that the water from all my taps was rusty brown. It is like "farm" water. The water tastes . . . dirty and I had already washed a load of whites that are now more yellow. I want to know if this is something that is effecting everyone, or is it a problem with my house.
If it is just me, what should I do?? Who should I call??
Any advice would be appreciated.
