Land Surveyors

Anyone know of any decently priced land/property surveyors that can do elevation and property line assessments? I've been in contact with one company and the charge seems a little steep $1600-$1800, however I am not familiar with what goes into these types of surveyors and also havent talked to any other companies in brandon for comparasin. I'm just looking for some kind of direction as to who to approach and if you have had any experiences you can share. Thanks in advance.
