Apply for a Kit  
Eligibility  
The Power Smart Water and Energy Saver Kit is available to Manitoba Hydro residential customers who own or rent their home and property managers or landlords who manage or own a multi-unit residential property. The home must be occupied year-round.  
 
The water use and hot water heater energy consumption in a seasonal home (e.g. cottage) is less than an average residential home, so the energy and water savings don’t provide sufficient economic benefits to offer a free kit to seasonal homeowners. Seasonal homes are not eligible for the free kit.  
 
Participants of the WISE Program already will have received water and energy saving devices that have the same energy saving benefits as those included in the Water and Energy Saver Kits.
