Raking Leaves as Fundraiser
9/26/2010 at 10:58 PM
With the recent discussion about athletes selling frozen cookie dough to raise money (and how much the manufacturer was getting from their work), I started thinking. At the time I was also raking my lawn to remove the first layer of leaves.
Would any of those athletes that do not want to sell frozen cookie dough be interested in raking leaves to raise money?
I have a leaf mulcher you could borrow that reduces the number of bags from four to one. There could be an option of "Save $5 if the mulched leaves are scattered on the flower bed or garden or compost." They could be taken directly to the compost portion at the landfill.
Would other home owners be interested in paying a fair price ($25 for front, $59 for both, extra for double and triple lots) knowing the money is going to support school activities?
