I know we have had topics of mean landlords and such but this is different and I need help.  
 
my privacy has been violated and I don't know what to do. Over the x-mas holidays i was away and I guess made the mistake of telling my landlord i would be away for a few days. He has been wanting to get in my apartment for some renovations and i told him we could set up a time AFTER the holidays so i could clean up and make things accessible for him.  
 
upon returning after the x-mas holiday I noticed he has been in my apartment. NOTHING is missing or has been touched but I know he has been in here because he left behind a very important item of his that was not there when i left.  
 
is it not the law to get permission to enter my place??? now i don't know what to do.. im on edge scared he will walk in whenever... i left personal stuff around because HEY its my house.... i just need some advice.. any would be great.. thanks for listening...
