Just wondering if anyone knows how long it takes for something to mold. My apartment flooded two and a half weeks ago really bad. It wasn't cleaned up properly and was left soaking wet until it dried. I'm worried that that the carpet is going to mold and I'm trying to get it replaced. I have a 17 month old baby who is always on the floor and don't want her to get sick. The water came from the heaters and was told by the building caretaker that it won't mold. We left for the holidays and since we got back my sinuses started acting up. I was told that humidity itself will make things mold so I'm thinking it's molding. Does anyone have any input on this?
