So I woke up this morning to find that there is no electricity in parts of my house. To go into a bit more detail there is the main floor, upstairs and basement. The basement is just where the furnace and hot water tank is and storage, it's not finished or anything and there is no power down there... including to my furnace so it's about 8°C inside at the moment.  
 
On the main floor in the laundry room there is no power and no lights, in the kitchen there are no lights and the only outlet that works is the one for the oven. In the dining room the lights don't work, in the living room the outlets on one side of the room work and my lamps come on, on the other side where the TV and stereo is there is no power.  
 
Upstairs almost everything is fine, bathroom, my office, spare room, but in the bedroom everything is fine except for one outlet where I have my bedroom TV.  
 
This exact same thing happened to me just over a year ago and at that time it was caused by my neighbors tree rubbing against the hydro line and cutting through a portion of it. I checked outside and from what I could tell it looks fine but I'm waiting for them to check it out. I checked my circuit breaker and nothing has been flipped either.  
 
So... if it's not a problem outside the house any other thoughts/recommendations?
