So installed vinyl plank flooring through the entire lower level of our house. We installed a commercial grade click lock material but I'm wondering what others use for cleaning. It seems very easy to keep clean but just wonder what others are doing. Currently I'm just vacuuming and spot cleaning . But was gonna do a clean before the Xmas decor goes up next weekend. Our floors look great and we are very happy with them this far!

So far I've found that about a quarter cup of vinegar in a pail of water works best for wet mopping. It gets rid of any footprints or smudging....and it takes awhile before you see any again. Unlike when I use Mr Clean multi purpose, or Vim Gel multi surface, highly diluted in water, the floors don't shine as much and they get lots of footprints. Seems like a residue is left behind. I'm not a fan of the vinegar smell but it sure works. Would like to know as well what others are using. I do a lot of dry mopping with a microfiber mop, catches a looot of dust & dirt.

lightly spray the floor, then i attach a microfibre cloth to a swiffer mop and my floors look great. Our installer gave me tip.

check manufacturers recommendation for cleaning products.  
if still in doubt check with store were you bought the flooring and ask what they recommend.  
Don't void warranty by using inappropriate cleaning product.
